Tbilisi City Court has refused to grant a victim status to 16 individuals.

The Constitutional Court admitted the claim, which was submitted by GYLA on behalf of Irakli Jugeli, for the hearing on merits. In this case, GYLA disputes the issue of constitutionality of paragraph 2 of Article 247 and Article 244 of the Code of Administrative Offences of Georgia.

According to official figures, 275 persons were injured on June 20-21, among them are-187 civilians, 15 journalists (according to various sources, the number of injured journalists is 32) and 73 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
