Observer organizations call upon law enforcement agencies to take an interest in the actions of the District Election Commission of Tianeti and Precinct Election Commission no. 20 of the same district

The Georgian Young Lawyers' Association believes that the investigation on the death of Amiran Kvirikashvili must be conducted not by the Ministry of Internal Affairs but the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia. We call upon the relevant authorities to take appropriate measures immediately.

The pre-election period of the 21 October 2017 local self-government elections officially began on August 22 and lasted two months. The pre-election period was mostly peaceful and political parties were noticeably active.
