On October 19, 2018, GYLA has applied to the Constitutional Court with the constitutional claim on behalf of Ana Dolidze. The essences of the dispute are those norms of the Organic law ,,On the Common Courts’’, which enable judge candidates to challenge the member of the High Council of Justice due to partiality and non-objectivity.

On October 19, the Constitutional Court announced the decision on one of the cases filed by GYLA (,,David Malania against the Georgian Parliament’’), the case aims to change the unconstitutional use of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

Leading members of the Government of Georgia and the ruling party continue their purposeful attacks on non-governmental organizations and their heads.

The voting process is mostly calm by 10:00. Majority of the electoral precincts observed by GYLA were ready on time for the first voter. Majority of those precincts were properly equipped with electoral inventory. A few violations of electoral legislation were revealed by now, which mostly relate to the casting of lots (division of functions between electoral commission members by random selection).
